The mission of the Alliance for Literacy is to increase the literacy rate in our area by promoting education for adults in basic skills, reading, English as a Second Language, and GED preparation, as well as aiding other organizations and individuals in their efforts to promote literacy. We are committed to breaking the cycle of family illiteracy in our community and believe that the greatest gift you can give a child is a parent who can read!
